A thank you letter

Camp School project

The letter from year 6
Camp School

During November 2009, children in year 6 at Camp School worked with writer Anna Reynolds, musician Tim Jennings and artist Eileen Ramsay as part of the Out of Sight Out of Mind project. The pupils learnt about life at Hill End Hospital and responded to this in a variety of artistic formats. Their work is displayed on other pages of this site.

This was obviously a stimulating experience for the students, and from the letter reproduced here, it is clear that the artists’ input was much appreciated.

We loved…

Text of the letter:

Dear Anna, Tim, Eileen and Trisha

thank you very much for all your help during the Out of sight Out of Mind workshop. we all enjoyed it, we also learnt all about the Hill end Hospital. It was fascinating learning about the people who lived inside the hospital and facts about them.
