  • Welcome!

Welcome to the Out of Sight, Out of Mind? project in St Albans. This is a record of the former mental hospitals in the area including Hill End, Napsbury, Cell Barnes, Harperbury, Leavesden and Shenley. We are looking for contributions from anyone who has recollections of any of these hospitals.

We’re currently looking for Volunteer Editors to get involved with the Out of Sight Out of Mind website.  Find out more about this opportunity here!
