Sharing memories

On Monday 25th January there was a wonderful community sharing event held at Trestle Arts Base where participants of the community workshops could join together to celebrate the work they had achieved. The workshops had been held at the St Peter’s Street Day Centre and at Trestle Arts Base and followed on from the highly successful schools workshops.  Participants were able to share their feelings and memories  by mean of music, art and creative writing. 

The event was also the chance to share a cup of coffee and a biscuit while learning how to use the scanners and website to download images and memories for this website.

The event was very well attended with over 40 people coming along and were representatives from the community, the local council and from the HeritageLottery Fund.  A good time was had by all and a lot of memories were shared and enjoyed.
